7. Spicy Bok Choy with Garlic Dressing
Remove bok choy ends and chop up. Separate white parts from the green parts. Rinse and dry. Then, set aside. Mix up sesame oil, vegetable oil together in a bowl. Separately, mix garlic, water, ginger, soy sauce, oyster sauce, red pepper flakes and brown sugar together. Let sit. Add bok choy stems to a skillet with oil and heat on medium/high heat. Cook for a few min. until they become pale green. Then, add the leaves and cook for 1-2 min. until wilted. Take out and put on a serving platter. Add the prepared sauce to the skillet and heat on medium/high. Cook and stir constantly to thicken the sauce (3 min.). Add the sauce on the bok choy and coat well to serve.
