Best Corn Salad Recipe

A light and refreshing salad perfect for a warm summer evening. I like to serve this as a side with Mexican meals.

3 teaspoons butter
3 ears fresh corn, husks and silks removed
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 tablespoons lime juice
