Most Simple Spaghetti Recipe

Your family may prefer this spaghetti instead of even a steak dinner! This recipe will be requested by your family over and over. It is restaurant-style and delicious! You can even use the sauce for lasagna another night.

You will need:

2 lbs. of Italian sausage (casing taken off, use mild or hot as desired)

1 small chopped onion (if desired)

2 (15 oz.) cans of tomato sauce

3 -4 cloves of garlic (minced)

3 tsp. of basil

1 (28 oz.) can of diced tomatoes

2 (6 oz.) cans of tomato paste

2 c. of water or less as needed

2 tsp. of parsley flakes (dried)

1 tsp. of salt

Parmesan cheese

1⁄4-1⁄2 tsp. red pepper flakes (crushed)

1⁄4 tsp. coarse black pepper (coarse, ground)

1 1⁄2 tsp. of brown sugar

1⁄4 c. red wine (a Cabernet that tastes good!)

1 lb. of thin spaghetti
